We enjoyed creating this beautiful and comfortable space where guests could relax, read and enjoy afternoon tea.
The scheme is harmonious and calm, with upholstered walls in a pale lemon-yellow fabric and textured, earthy tones used on the upholstery. To inject some character we added pops of burgundy and blue, and sourced some individual antiques and contemporary, sculptural lighting.
The Pavilion Suites are the hotel's extra special hideaways nestled in the forest. We used stunning woodland wallpaper with a soft plaster-pink background to create a tranquil environment, reflecting the surrounding forest. The domed ceiling was painted in gloss to bounce the light around the room, and contemporary fabrics and one-off pieces help create a timeless space which feels both luxurious and unique.
These rooms are cosy, cheerful and homely. Natural fabrics, hand-blocked wallpapers and a bold use of colour create a strong visual impact and an air of escapism. Individual antiques, sustainably crafted furniture and lighting add texture and warmth. Fun accessories and quirky artwork featuring animals, botanicals and country scenes reflect the bucolic setting of the lodges.
